Langdon Hall – A genuinely historic property. Built-in 1898, Langdon Hall was meant to be the summertime home of the son of an English man who inherited American wealth. Cambridge Farmers Market – This market is one of the oldest running farmers markets in all of Canada. It’s open every Saturday and offers homestyle baking and cooking, fresh produce, crafts, and so much more. 

Black Bridge – Constructed in 1916, this is a unique old bridge that can be found in Cambridge, ON on Black Bridge Road (this is between Guelph Ave North and Townline Road).


The cool part Cambridge is there are three separate art galleries, all within the city of Cambridge, ON. Each of the galleries has its collection with a unique focus.

The Dunfield Theatre – This is worth a visit. I can personally recommend going to see the Nutcracker performance, which is unbelievable. 

Cambridge Sculpture Garden – Along the historic Grand River, you can find the Cambridge Sculpture Garden. The great news, it’s 100% free! You can go in and view all the fantastic sculptures, some being permanent pieces and other being in rotation.

Cambridge Scottish Festival – An extraordinary event for the whole family. GO out and celebrate Scottish culture with Scottish fun, entertainment, food and lots of activities. Watch the pipe bands, the traditional Scottish dancers, believe me; you’ll love it. 

Cambridge Rotary Rib Fest – Usually held in August and run by the Cambridge Rotary Club, there are lots to do and enjoy beyond the delicious and mouth-watering southern cuisine they serve at this event. There’s live entertainment, activities for kids, and it happens to rain or shine, so you can’t miss it.


Church Hill park – If you like the outdoors, hiking, sports and more, then you will love Church Hill park in Cambridge, ON. It has everything there, with a new splash pad for kids, and an enclosed area for deer and peacocks. A truly great park!

The Butterfly Conservatory – Cambridge has a highly-rated butterfly conservatory. I’ve personally visited 3 or 4 times, and I can’t recommend it enough. Especially if you have kids, they will love it. 

Activities by the Grand – The beautiful thing about being next to the historic Grand River is there is so much to do. Depending on the time of year, whether you want to Swim, Canoeing, hiking, cycling or any other activity, it all can be done along the beautiful Grand River.
